Hindus took to the streets in Bangladesh

Hindus have now come out on the streets across the country against the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. Hindus are protesting against fundamentalists in all cities from Dhaka to Faridpur. Interim government head Mohammad Yunus will meet the people of the Hindu community today.

In Dhaka, Hindus are protesting at the same Shahid Minar from where the student movement had started earlier. It was from here that the demand for the resignation of Sheikh Hasina was raised. Now protests are being held here against Hindu violence. In other districts of Bangladesh too, thousands of Hindus have come out on the streets.

There should be a check on violence against Hindus

These people demand that the interim government of Bangladesh should curb Hindu violence as soon as possible. On Monday, once again thousands of Hindus will protest in Shahabagh, Dhaka. During this time, the protest will be held in front of the National Museum.

At the same time, in Bangladesh, strong protests are going on in Dhaka as well as Maimansingh, Madaripur, Faridpur, Maulvibazar, Bogura, Sunamganj. In these places, people of the Hindu community have come out on the streets with their entire families. Carrying placards and poster-banners in their hands, they are making special demands from the interim government.
