Mobile is connected to the Internet and through it, online transaction of money is also done. During this time, a little carelessness can cause your financial loss, so the mobile should be used carefully. Similarly, take care while using social media, Facebook and WhatsApp, etc., otherwise you can get caught in crisis. Bansal was addressing a workshop organized by the State Information Science Center Haryana at the Haryana Civil Secretariat today on the Internet Day. He informed that a nationwide awareness campaign has been launched by the Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology, Government of India on 11 February 2025, on the theme “for better internet”. The purpose of this campaign is to educate various internet users to protect safe online services, cyber hygiene and cyber threats, promoting responsible and safe internet among citizens.
Children, women and youth are being made aware in this campaign. He informed that on the occasion of Safe Internet Day, NIC has also organized workshops by District Informatics Officers at each district level in Haryana to make local citizens and officers aware of safe internet.
Additional State Information Science Officer Sarabjit Singh present in the workshop also made many suggestions to remain safe. He said that do not tell your PIN number and OTP to protect against internet hackers, do not share OTP, do not keep passwords common and keep changing it regularly. Similarly, use a safe browser and maintain the privacy of the profile post.

Such deceptions can be prevented only by taking precautions.
