IPL 2022 dates have been announced. The tournament will be played from March 26 to May 29. However, many big players will not be a part of this tournament in the opening matches. This includes players like David Warner, Pat Cummins and Jonny Bairstow. All these players will play for their country in the last week of March and beginning of April. Because of this, the opening matches in IPL will not be able to play.
Australian players will play ODI and T20 matches against Pakistan. Because of this, from around April 12, he will join his IPL teams. In such a situation, all the players can be out in about four matches.
Players of which country will not be able to play the opening match
Players like David Warner, Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell and Stoinis of Australia can play IPL from around 12 April. On the other hand, Jonny Bairstow and Mark Wood of England can also be out of the first two matches. West Indies’ Holder and Josep could also be ruled out of the first two matches.
The African team will play a two-match home Test series against Bangladesh from March 31 to April 12. Players playing IPL in this series can be kept out of the team. If this happens, players like Rabada and Markram will be able to be a part of IPL. South Africa has not yet announced its team for this series. If the players playing IPL are included in the African team, then these players can stay away from their IPL team for half the season.
