Ishan Kishan match fee deducted by 10 percent
BCCI has reduced Ishan Kishan’s match by 10 percent for violating the IPL code of conduct in the match against Delhi Capitals. In the press release issued by IPL, it was informed that Ishan Kishan has been fined for violating Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Ishan Kishan has accepted his mistake which comes under Level 1, after which we have reduced his match fee by 10 percent. For Level 1 violations, the match referee’s decision is final. Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct deals with misuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment during the match.
Mumbai Indians got defeated after 6 years on Delhi ground
The IPL season so far for the Mumbai Indians team under the leadership of new captain Hardik Pandya has not been as per expectations, in which they have been able to win only 3 out of 9 matches. The team is at 9th position in the points table. Talking about the match against Delhi Capitals, Mumbai team got a score of 257 runs in 20 overs, after which they managed to reach the score of 247 runs only. For Mumbai Indians, only Tilak Verma got a half-century in this match in which he played an inning of 63 runs.
