In that year’s IPL final, Gujarat Titans won the title by defeating Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets and Rajasthan was left heartbroken. Now even though Hardik’s team has changed, he must be remembering that day.
Mumbai Indians got their third consecutive defeat
The defeat of Mumbai Indians is more painful for Hardik Pandya because the team had already lost two matches and was playing the match on its home ground for the first time. Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bowl first. Mumbai India’s opener Rohit Sharma and then Naman Dheer were out in the very first over. After some time, Dewald Brevis and Ishan Kishan also left. The effect of continuous fall of wickets was that the entire team together could score only 125 runs. Rajasthan tops points table, Mumbai Indians at tenth place
Now, while the Rajasthan Royals team has taken the lead in the points table with 6 points, the Mumbai Indians have not even opened their account yet and are currently struggling at the tenth position. Although the initial matches are still being played and the situation may change in the future, but while AR’s morale is high, the MI team must be feeling the pressure at this time. It remains to be seen how the performance of these two top and bottom teams apart from the rest of the teams will be in the upcoming matches.
