New Delhi. Delhi Capitals have changed the mathematics of IPL 2024 playoffs by defeating Gujarat Titans badly. Gujarat Titans team, playing under the captaincy of Shubman Gill, collapsed on just 89 runs in front of Delhi on Wednesday. This is the smallest score of any team in IPL 2024. Delhi Capitals, captained by Rishabh Pant, had no problem in scoring 90 runs to win. They won by 6 wickets with 67 balls remaining. Jake Fraser McGurk scored the maximum 20 runs for Delhi.
The 32nd match of IPL 2024 took place on Wednesday between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans. In this match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Delhi captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to bowl first. Delhi bowlers proved their captain’s decision right and demolished the batting of Gujarat Titans team as if it was a castle of cards. Only 3 batsmen from Gujarat could touch double figures. Orange Cap: Gill overtook Rohit
