New Delhi. After the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India has started getting support internationally. On Saturday, Iran’s President Masood Pezeskian and United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone and strongly condemned the heinous attack. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal confirmed this on social media, saying that both the heads of state have expressed solidarity with India against terrorism.
Iran’s President Masood Pezeskian, in his conversation, sharply criticized the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, saying that such attacks cannot be justified under any circumstances. He said, “Those who believe in humanity should come together and stand firm against terrorism and extremism.” President Pejeshekian expressed deep condolences to those who lost their lives in the attack and wished the injured to get well soon.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed condolences to those killed in the explosion at the Bandar Abbas port in Iran and wished for early health benefits of the injured. This exchange of mutual sensations further strengthens the deep relations between the two countries.
The United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also strongly condemned the attack and expressed his solidarity towards India. He said, “Extremism cannot be accepted under any circumstances and should be rejected in any case.”
The statement of the UAE President shows that global consent against terrorism is becoming a threat to not only the peace of one country but also to global stability.
In a conversation with the two leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the displeasure and resentment of the people of India, saying that “whoever is behind or supporting them, they will not be spared.” Modi also made it clear that India will intensify its fight against terror and bring criminals in the dock of justice.
On April 22, 26 innocent civilians lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The attackers tried to create an atmosphere of fear and terror by attacking in a planned manner. Since this attack, the Government of India has intensified the campaign against terror more aggressively.
