New Delhi. A woman, one of the 17 Indians who were among the crew members of the Israeli ship which was captured by Iran recently, has returned safely to India today. The name of this woman resident of Thrissur, Kerala is Ann Tessa Joseph. India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said, Modi’s guarantee works even in foreign countries. The Ministry of External Affairs says that the other 16 Indian citizens aboard the ship will also return safely soon.
Great work, @India_in_Iran , Glad that Ms. Ann Tessa Joseph has reached home. #ModiKiGuarantee always delivers, at home or abroad. https://t.co/VxYMppcPZr

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal has shared the photo on social media of Indian Foreign Ministry officials welcoming Tessa Joseph at the airport. While tagging this photo, India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar wrote on his social media account that he is happy that Ann Tessa Joseph has reached her home. Modi’s guarantee always works whether in India or abroad. It is noteworthy that on April 15, an Israeli cargo ship was captured by the Iranian army. There were a total of 25 crew members on board this Israeli cargo ship ‘MSC Aries’, of which 17 are Indian citizens. One of these women returned home today and the Foreign Ministry is continuously talking to Iran for the return of other citizens.
Earlier on April 14, an advisory was issued by India to its citizens not to travel to Israel and Iran. India had asked its citizens living in Israel and Iran to contact the Indian Embassy and register themselves. Let us tell you that on April 1, Israel carried out an airstrike near the Iranian Embassy in Syria. 13 people including two Iranian army commanders were killed in this airstrike by Israel. After this, angry Iran threatened Israel for revenge. Iran had said that we will give a befitting reply to this attack. Since then there is a war like situation between the two countries.
