Indian wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan got injured in the second T20 match against Sri Lanka. Now his playing in the third T20 match is doubtful. While batting in the second match, Ishaan was hit in the head by a dangerous bouncer from Lahiru Kumara. After this he sat down on the ground and the game was stopped for some time. However, Kishan batted after this, but could not do much. He was admitted to the hospital after the match.
Apart from Kishan, Sri Lanka’s Dinesh Chandimal has also been taken to the hospital, but he has a thumb injury and his condition is completely normal.
Ishaan played an innings of 16 runs
Kishan, who played a brilliant innings of 89 runs in the first match, got out after scoring just 16 runs in the second match. In this innings, he played a total of 15 balls and hit two fours. Just before getting out, Kishan was hit in the head. After that his attention got distracted and he tried to play big shots in every ball. After this he was out on the ball of Lahiru Kumara.

Many players including the physio spoke with him and Kishan did not seem comfortable with the batting even further. After this he has been admitted to the hospital. According to media reports, Kishan is admitted in the ICU ward of Fortis Hospital in Kangra. While Chandimal is admitted to the general ward after a thumb injury.
India won the second match by seven wickets
Sanju Samson, who came to the crease after Kishan’s dismissal, along with Shreyas Iyer, handled the Indian innings and gave Team India victory. Iyer remained unbeaten on 74 off 44 balls, while Samson was dismissed for 39 off 25 balls. Jadeja then scored 45 runs in 18 balls. India won this match by seven wickets. With this win, Team India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the T20I series.
