A sensational case has come to light from Dhuralkh village in Samastipur district, where the death of a young man named Vijay Kumar Ram has created a stir in the entire area. Due to the death of the deceased, the family has filed a case alleging murder. The police have arrested the deceased’s wife Sarita Kumari in this case, while the rest of the accused are absconding and their search is on.
There were problems since marriage
The deceased Vijay Kumar Ram was married to Sarita Kumari, a resident of Dhuralkh, in the year 2010. Vijay’s brother Shiv Kumar Ram said that Sarita and her family had started harassing Vijay after a few days of marriage. Economic and family tension in the house continued to increase.
Shiv Kumar told that Sarita had called her husband and demanded four lakh rupees. He had said that only then I will come back home with you. With the aim of persuading his wife and giving money, Vijay sold his land and came to her in -laws on 22 May 2025. He stayed there for two to three days.
The news of death caused panic in the family
On the morning of May 26, the family received information that Vijay had died. When the family and villagers reached there, Vijay’s body was found. The brother of the deceased clearly said that this is not a natural death but a murder. They allege that the in -laws always demanded money and sister -in -law came to marry only for money.
Shiv Kumar said that Vijay was very upset and was fed up with the demands of the in -laws. This time too, the wife went to her maternal home and did not return. When Vijay asked the reason for this, she started asking for money. Vijay took money so that he could bring back his wife, but this time his life came to an end.
Police filed a case, arrest was also made
Dhuralkh police station in -charge Niranjan Kumar said that Sarita Kumari, Sala Rahul Kumar, Kundan Ram and Chandrika Ram have been named in this case. The main accused Sarita has been arrested and sent to jail, while the rest of the accused are absconding. The police is conducting raids for his arrest.
The police station in -charge said, “We are investigating the matter thoroughly and soon all the accused will be caught and brought to the box of justice.”
Family justice pleaded
The family says that they want justice and the culprits should be punished severely. He said that Vijay was tortured and broken mentally and physically. He has requested the government and the police to take this case seriously and find out the truth as soon as possible.
