Lahore: Pakistani intelligence agency ISI has started tightening its grip on Imran Khan. In the latest action on the party of jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, four senior members of his media team were allegedly detained by intelligence agencies on Saturday. This has created a stir in Imran Khan’s camp. After the arrest of the four members, Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party said in a statement, “International media coordinator Ahmed Janjua and three other members of the social media team were ‘abducted’ this morning.”

In CCTV footage released by the party, Janjua can be seen being detained by men in plainclothes in Islamabad at around 4 am. According to the party, severe crackdown has been carried out on PTI’s social media team in the past two weeks. “Any attempt to reduce the flow of information to the media is condemnable. The government must ensure their safety and release them at the earliest,” the party demanded. Senior PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari said, “Due to the constant international reporting of all the atrocities happening in Pakistan, now my team is being abducted along with others.
