New Delhi. ISIS terrorist Rizwan Ali, who has a bounty of Rs 3 lakh on his head, has revealed during interrogation that he was plotting bomb blasts in Delhi. For this, he had also carried out controlled blasts in the Yamuna riverbed in Okhla and Jamia. Rizwan had taken training in controlled IED blasts in Pune. Police and security agencies have become alert after Rizwan revealed the conspiracy to terrorize Delhi. Rizwan was arrested from the Delhi-Faridabad border yesterday.
Rizwan Ali was in direct contact with terrorist commander Faratullah Ghori. After escaping from the custody of Pune Police, Rizwan kept hiding in different cities. He remained hidden in many parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat in disguise. Security agencies were continuously working in active mode to catch Rizwan, who was absconding for a long time and was included in the list of NIA’s most wanted terrorists. Yesterday, Delhi Police arrested Rizwan from the border of Delhi and Faridabad after intelligence information. Rizwan was arrested once before by Delhi Police in the year 2018, but then no evidence was found against him, due to which Rizwan was released after a long interrogation.
Rizwan first got influenced by radical ideology in 2015 and 16 and joined some radicals through social media. After this, he met Shahnawaz from Jharkhand who lived and was studying in Shaheen Bagh, Delhi. Rizwan and Shahnawaz planned together. After this, Rizwan came in contact with an IS handler in 2018 through social media. After coming in contact with the IS handler, Rizwan planned terrorist attacks. After this, Rizwan and Shahnawaz met Imran and Yunus Saki. Both of them started collecting money for the blast. Later Shahnawaz was caught by the police, but Rizwan was still out of reach.
