Beirut: Israel is fighting a war with Hamas on one side and Hezbollah on the other. The Israeli army on Tuesday targeted a Hezbollah commander in Lebanon’s capital Beirut. Hezbollah’s DOP commander has been killed in this airstrike carried out by Israel. The Israeli army has said that the Hezbollah commander was responsible for the attack in Golan Heights, in which 12 Israeli children were killed. An Israeli official said that the target was Fuad Shukur, who is Hezbollah’s top military commander. With this, Israel’s tension with Hezbollah, a terrorist group active in Lebanon, has increased.

‘Hezbollah has crossed the limit’

Israel blamed Hezbollah for the rocket attack on the city of Majdal Shams on Saturday. However, the terrorist organization has denied its role in the attack. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant wrote in his post on the social media platform ‘X’ soon after Tuesday’s attack, “Hezbollah has crossed its limits.”

Israel attacked Hezbollah’s stronghold

Lebanon’s state news agency reported that three rockets were fired in this drone attack, killing a woman and injuring several others. Some of the injured are in critical condition. According to the agency, the injured have been taken to nearby hospitals. Bahman Hospital, located near the explosion site, has called on people to donate blood. A Hezbollah official said that Israeli airstrikes hit a Hezbollah stronghold south of Beirut on Tuesday evening, causing damage.

India has issued advisory
