The three-man Indian women’s 25m pistol team of Rahi Sarnobat, Aisha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan advanced to the gold medal bout of the ISSF World Cup. The trio scored 441 out of 450, securing first place in the second qualification stage. They will now face Singapore in the final, who have the same number of points but three shots short of India in the inner 10.
Chinese Taipei and Japan will play for the bronze medal. India is second in the medal tally by winning two gold and one silver medal. Saurabh Chaudhary and Women’s 10m Air Pistol team won the gold medal while Aisha Singh won the silver medal in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol team. In men’s 25m rapid fire pistol, India’s Anish Bhanwala is currently ranked ninth in the qualification round of 37 shooters.
