New Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is an accused in the money laundering case related to the alleged liquor scam in Delhi. The ED arrested CM Kejriwal after questioning him. The Supreme Court has granted him interim bail to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections and he is currently out of jail. When Kejriwal was in jail, his wife Sunita Kejriwal took charge. In such a situation, speculations about Sunita Kejriwal joining politics had intensified. Now Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said a big thing about this speculation. CM Kejriwal said that there is no possibility of his wife contesting elections in the future, because she (Sunita) has no interest in active politics.
CM Arvind Kejriwal has made his stand clear on many things. He expressed his views in detail, which included the ‘insult’ during the jail, the allegations leveled against him, the mood of the family, the prospects of the opposition alliance ‘India’ in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, etc. Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal has challenged the arrest in the Supreme Court, the hearing on which is currently going on. During the hearing of the case itself, the issue of granting him interim bail was raised. Despite ED’s arguments against this, the apex court had granted interim bail to Kejriwal.

Emotional about wife Sunita
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also got emotional about his wife Sunita Kejriwal. He said, ‘Sunita has supported me at every step of my life. I am fortunate to have a life partner like her. It is not easy to tolerate a crazy person like me.’ He recalled that in the year 2000, I took leave from the job of Income Tax Commissioner to work in the slums of Delhi and then resigned to devote full time to social work. Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘At that time I had no idea that I would become the Chief Minister or form a party or contest elections. I was just encouraged and I worked for 10 years. Even then she supported me. Think what she must have gone through then.’
…when Sunita Kejriwal took over the command
Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 in connection with alleged irregularities in the Delhi government’s (now repealed) excise policy and a money laundering case. He was released on interim bail on 10 May to campaign in favor of the Aam Aadmi Party in the current Lok Sabha elections. After the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, his wife and former Income Tax officer Sunita Kejriwal took the political command of the party. He read out Arvind Kejriwal’s message sent from jail, did roadshows and gave speeches in opposition rallies.
