Bengaluru. The uproar in Karnataka over the murder of MCA student Neha Hiremath on Thursday continued on Saturday also. The mother of murder accused Faiyaz Kondinakoppa apologized to the parents of the deceased and said that her son should be punished.
Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G. Parmeshwar also apologized for his love related remarks in this matter. Yes. Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Parameshwara said, “He regrets if any of his statements regarding the case have hurt the sentiments of Neha’s parents.”
Responding to this incident, Parmeshwar had said that Neha and Faiyaz loved each other. Expressing regret, Faiyaz’s mother Mumtaz said on Saturday, “What my son did is a crime.” Neha and Faiyaz loved each other. It was Neha who proposed Faiyaz. When Faiyaz told me about this, I asked him not to continue the relationship.”
Mumtaz said that my son should be given strict punishment. His dream was to become an officer in Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS). Neha was a good girl. I apologize to his family.
Neha’s mother Geeta reacted to this and said, “Ask them to bring my daughter back. I am waiting for my daughter. The accused should be punished, he should be hanged.”
Geeta said, “We know our daughter. There was no relationship between the two. Did our daughter not know which religion she belonged to? We always spent time together, she used to share everything with me.” Neha was stabbed to death in the college campus of Hubli city. The students ran and caught Faiyaz and handed him over to the police.
