New Delhi. Batsman Shikhar Dhawan, who left his mark as a powerful batsman of the Indian cricket team, is going through the worst phase of his life these days. Sometimes due to his relationship with his wife and sometimes due to his not returning to Team India despite repeated efforts. Shikhar Dhawan has been in the news for the past several months regarding his personal life. He is deeply heartbroken after separation from his wife Ayesha Mukherjee. He has not even met his son Zorawar for more than a year. Amidst all these problems, on Tuesday he made a post on his Instagram handle in which he also wrote a long emotional post along with a snapshot of the video call with his son.
He claimed in the post on Instagram that he has been blocked from all the virtual platforms through which he could have connected with his son. It is worth noting that in October this year, a Delhi court had accepted Shikhar Dhawan’s divorce petition due to his troubled relationship with his ex-wife Ayesha Dhawan.
The court also granted visitation rights to Dhawan to meet his son in India and Australia. Apart from this, the court also ordered Ayesha to bring her son to India for overnight stay with Dhawan and his family and for visitation during school holidays. But, it seems that Dhawan is not able to connect with his son even virtually, leave alone meeting him in person. The thing to note is that Shikhar Dhawan is very close to his words. In such a situation, staying away from him is the biggest problem in his personal life.
Shikhar Dhawan wrote in his Instagram post..
“It’s been a year since I saw you in person, and now, for almost three months, I’ve been blocked from everywhere, so here’s the same picture to wish you, my son, a very happy birthday Posting.”
“Even though I can’t connect with you directly, I still connect with you through telepathy. I’m so proud of you, and I know you’re doing great and growing well.”
“Papa always misses you and loves you. He is always positive, smiling and waiting for the time when by God’s grace we will meet again. Be naughty but not evil, be a giver, be humble, kind, patient and strong.”
“Despite not seeing you, I write you messages almost every day, asking about your well-being and daily life, sharing what I’m up to and what’s new in my life.”
“Zhora, I love you so much
Father”
