Jagdeep Dhankar said the credibility of RSS is impeccable: RSS’s credibility is impeccable, everyone should be proud, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar replied to SP MP

New Delhi. Vice President of the country and Chairman of Rajya Sabha Jagdeep Dhankar said in the Upper House of Parliament today that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is an organization with an impeccable image and criticizing it is against the Constitution. Actually, Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman raised questions about the appointment of the Chairman of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and his association with RSS. Expressing displeasure over this statement of the SP MP, the Chairman said that he will not allow the name of RSS to be taken.

He said that RSS is an organisation which has full constitutional right to participate in the development journey of this nation. The credibility of this organisation is impeccable and it consists of people who are committed to serving the nation selflessly. It is heartening to know and it is worth noting that RSS as an organisation is contributing to national welfare, our culture. In fact, everyone should be proud of any organisation which is working in this way. Dhankar condemned the naming of RSS by the SP MP and said that his remarks will not be allowed to come in the record of the House.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge opposed this statement of Chairman Dhankar. Kharge claimed that the SP MP’s comment was not against the rules of the House. He also said that the SP MP’s statement about the NTA Chairman being associated with the RSS is absolutely correct. On Kharge’s objections, the Chairman said, I can intervene if the rules of the House are violated. If a member is speaking within the rules, then I should not interfere, I agree with this, but what the SP MP said is against the rules.
