Police engaged in the investigation of the violence in Jahangirpuri area have said that a number will be issued for those who give information about other suspects involved in the incident of bullet, stone pelting and arson. Police said that along with the phone number, an email will also be issued, or even directly, arrangements will be made to give any information about the suspects, any audio, video or any other evidence. There is an appeal to the people that whatever photos, videos they have, they must take them to the police, so that with the help of them, those appearing in them can be identified.
Ansar’s call details are being scrutinized
On the basis of the investigation of the Jahangirpuri violence case so far, many cases are already registered against the person named Ansar, whom the police is considering as the main accused. So the police is now checking about 20 other suspicious numbers including the Call Detail Record (CDR) of his phone to trace his entire network.
According to the Delhi Police, Ansar knew in advance when and from where the procession would take place and he planned the violence. However, his family members have called him innocent. But, in the investigation of the police, it came to light that he had stopped the procession and some other people were with him. People involved in his procession got into an argument. After that the stone pelting started. Accused Ansar was leading the stone pelting group.
Fear of violence, 80 percent students did not reach school
Due to the violence in Jahangirpuri area, there is such an atmosphere of tension in the area that even after the deployment of a large number of security forces, the effect of panic on the education of the innocent can be clearly seen. Alam is that in Rani Chennamma School, located just 200 meters away from the place where the violence took place, the number of children coming to school on Monday was only around 20 percent.
Fearful of the incident, most of the people around did not send their children to school. As a result, about 80 percent of the children did not reach school on Monday.
