Jaipur. The Eastern Jaipur Police has got a major success. The team of police station Jawahar Nagar arrested Farhat Hussain, the accused of cheating who has been absconding for a year. Deputy Commissioner of Police Jaipur, former Tejaswini Gautam said that a case of fraud and betrayal was registered against the accused Farhat Hussain on 21 February 2024.
Complainant Devendra Mehndiratta had said that Farhat Hussain cheated himself with more than ₹ 1.52 lakh in the name of flat booking from his son Harshit Mehandiratta, calling himself connected to the Housing Board. The accused sent a fake receipt to submit the check, but the check bounced. After this, he continued to avoid and escaped.
In view of the seriousness of the case, a special team was formed under the direction of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Asharam, Assistant Police Commissioner Laxmi Suthar and Thanadikari Mahesh Gurjar. This team succeeded in catching Farhat Hussain by constantly monitoring and cleverly working in plain uniform.
According to the information, the accused Farhat Hussain fled to Gujarat after the incident and was hiding there. At present, he is being questioned and an attempt is being made to recover the cheating amount.
This action of the police has hoped to get relief to many such victims, who have become victims of online or property fraud.
