Jaipur. The incident of damaged statue in Veer Tejaji temple in Sanganer area of ​​the capital Jaipur shook the feelings of the local people. According to DCP East Tejaswini Gautam, Siddharth Singh, a resident of Bikaner and living in Rajapark, has been arrested in the case. Police searched more than 100 CCTV footage and identified the accused with the help of more than 10 teams. The accused admitted that he damaged the idol in a state of intoxication, but later realized his mistake.
During interrogation, Siddharth Singh said that he was going through financial constraints and mental stress. He did this act in a state of intoxication, but when he regained consciousness, he realized his mistake and told the fiancé about it. According to the police, the accused has accepted his mistake and further action is being taken as per the law.
After this incident, the locals expressed outrage and demonstrated. However, the police administration took necessary steps, appealing to maintain peace. The police have also detailed 20 people who have been disturbing during the protest and a fair investigation into the case is underway.
