Bikaner. The Bikaner branch of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has launched a special campaign called “Come Trees-Make tomorrow” to make the environment green. The campaign started with the mosque in Samarda village of Khajuwala tehsil.
Expansion of campaign
Under this campaign, after Samarda village, saplings were planted at many places including Madrasa 32 Head, Madrasa 12 KYD, 6 BD-A, 6 BD-B mosques and 65 heads of Ganganagar.
Jamiat General Secretary Maulana Mohammad Irshad Qasmi said that even before this, the workers of the organization have planted saplings in village Bhagu, 32 head cemetery and 8 KYD cemetery. He also informed that hundreds of saplings have been planted in many villages of Pugal and Bajju tehsils.
Khidmat of humanity
Maulana Qasmi described plantation as not only the work of environmental protection, but the Khidmat of humanity. He said that it is the responsibility of every citizen to give a better environment to the coming generations.
To make this campaign more effective, the district team of Jamiat visited these areas and created enthusiasm and awareness among the local workers and villagers. Many prominent members and activists were present on the occasion including Maulana Taj Mohammad Saheb, Hafiz Ajmal Hussain, Maulana Farooq Qasmi.
