The central government has decided to deploy 24 companies of additional central paramilitary forces in this area to stop the continuous incidents of terrorism in the Jammu region of the Union Territory and to completely destroy the terrorists. In the past few days, there have been continuous terrorist attacks in the Jammu division. Apart from this, news is also coming that the Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed is once again becoming active in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources, after the way terrorists fearlessly carried out attacks in Reasi, Kathua and Doda of Jammu in the recent past, there is a possibility of increase in terrorist activities here. To deal with this in the initial stage itself, it has been decided to deploy 24 additional companies of central forces. These additional companies of central paramilitary forces will be deployed in sensitive areas of Jammu. The soldiers of the central forces will be engaged in anti-terrorism mission in Jammu. Earlier, terrorist incidents were less in Jammu. Whereas, Kashmir valley was considered a stronghold of terrorists. Now that terrorism has been curbed in Kashmir, terrorists have started infiltrating into Jammu and carrying out their activities there.
On June 9, the day of Modi government’s swearing-in, terrorists attacked a bus of pilgrims in Reasi, Jammu, killing 9 people. A day after this, terrorists attacked a village in Kathua. A terrorist was killed in the encounter there. On June 11, terrorists attacked an army post in Doda, Jammu. In which a soldier was injured. After the continuous attacks by terrorists in Jammu division, Union Home Minister Amit Shah called an important meeting. In which it was decided that steps should be taken for the complete destruction of terrorists before they can spread their feet in Jammu division.
