New Delhi. In response to the recent terror attacks in Reasi, Kathua and Doda, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has released sketches of four suspected terrorists believed to be active in the upper reaches of Bhaderwah, Thathri and Gandoh in Doda district. The police has also announced a reward for information leading to their arrest, assuring that the identity of the informant will be kept confidential.
Reward of Rs 20 lakh
Jammu and Kashmir Police has shared the sketches on its official social media account. A reward of Rs 500,000 is being offered for information on each terrorist, in total a reward of Rs 2 million will be given for information on all four.
Several encounters in four days
There have been several encounters between security forces and militants in Jammu division in the last four days. Militants opened fire on security forces in Hiranagar in Kathua, resulting in an encounter in which two militants were killed. Additionally, an encounter took place at Kota Top in Doda district on Wednesday evening in which constable Farid Ahmad was injured.

Increase in terrorist activities after Reasi attack
Terrorist activities have increased since the attack in Reasi. On June 9, terrorists attacked a bus returning from Shivkhori in Reasi, resulting in the death of nine devotees and injuries to over 41 people. Since then, there have been frequent reports of terrorist incidents, including encounters with security forces in Kathua and Doda.
