Jaipur. Well-known singer Javed Hussain has recently been awarded the title “Top Grade” in Sugar music by the Directorate General of All India Radio. This title has been provided to him for his outstanding music contribution and years of practice.
Javed Hussain is related to a reputed music family. His grandfather Ustad Afzal Hussain was a famous artist of Thumri and Dadra. His guru is his father and uncle – the country’s famous Ghazal singer Padmashree Ustad Ahmed Hussain and Mohammad Hussain, who left a deep impression in Hindustani classical music and ghazal singing.
Javed Hussain has given a voice to the popular song like “Aya Tere Dar Par Deewana” in the Bollywood film Veer-Zara. Many of his music albums have also been released, in which he has won the hearts of music lovers with his voice and style.
