Jio Price Hike
Reliance Jio has revised many of its unlimited prepaid and postpaid plans. This new tariff of Jio will be effective from 3 July 2024. Apart from this, Reliance Jio has launched Jio Safe service to protect the privacy of smartphone users. At the same time, the company has also launched AI powered Jio Translate service. At the same time, Jio has now stopped giving unlimited 5G data to all users. It has now decided to give it only with selected plans.
The country’s largest telecom service provider has revised many of its old plans and introduced them as new unlimited prepaid and postpaid plans. Jio users will be able to recharge their numbers with these prepaid and postpaid plans from July 3. Jio has rolled out its True 5G service in 85 percent of the country. Apart from this, the company has purchased new 1800 MHz bands in the recent 5G spectrum auction.
Now you will have to spend so much
New 28 days plan- For Jio’s 28-day plans of Rs 155, 209, 239, 299, 349 and 399, users will now have to spend Rs 189, 249, 299, 349, 399 and 449 respectively. The telecom company has increased the rate of recharge plans by 20 to 22 percent.
New 56 days plan- At the same time, the company has increased the price of its two-month (56 days) recharge plans of Rs 479 and Rs 533 to Rs 579 and Rs 629 respectively.
New 84 days plan- For Jio’s 3 month (84 days) recharge plans of Rs 395, Rs 666, Rs 719 and Rs 999, users will now have to spend Rs 479, Rs 799, Rs 859 and Rs 1199 respectively.
New Annual Plan- For Jio’s 336-day annual plan, users will now have to spend Rs 1899 instead of Rs 1559. At the same time, for the 365-day plan of Rs 2999, users will now have to spend Rs 3599.
New data add-on plans- Not only this, Jio has also revised the rates of its data add-on plans. Users will now have to spend Rs 19, Rs 29 and Rs 69 respectively for 1GB, 2GB and 6GB data plans priced at Rs 15, Rs 25 and Rs 61.
New postpaid plans- For postpaid users also, Jio has increased the rates of its Rs 299 and Rs 399 plans to Rs 349 and Rs 449 respectively.

Only these people will get unlimited 5G data
Apart from this, Jio has also stopped giving unlimited 5G data to all users. This benefit will be available only to users who have plans of 2GB per day or above. That is, only those users who have taken plans of 299, 349, 399, 533, 719, 999 and 2999 will get the benefit of unlimited 5G data.
Two new services launched
Jio has launched Jio Safe service to protect its users from scams and fraud. This is a quantum secure communication app, for which Rs 199 will have to be paid every month. Apart from this, AI based Jio Translate service has also been launched, for which users will have to pay Rs 99 every month. However, the company is offering both these services to its users for free for one year.
