The District West Police Team has submitted an application in the court for action against a person involved in illegal gravel mining under 107 BNSS. In this context, intelligence was collected by the special police team, on the basis of which information was received about the property acquired by Amaram, resident of Hamir Nagar in Finch village. It revealed a total assets worth Rs 1.35 crore including a dumper, a JCB, a camper and a motorcycle, a house and a bank balance. In this regard, a complaint has been presented against Amaram in the court under Section 107 BNSS. Further action will be taken by the court. This is probably the first time that action has been taken against illegal miners in the state.
Four Instagram IDs were also blocked.
DCP West Rajarshi Raj Verma said that the reel makers have been identified while mining illegal gravel and an FIR has been lodged against 6 people under 107 BNSS and two people under 126/135 BNSS. Four of these Instagram IDs have been discontinued. The vehicles seen in the video going viral on social media have been identified and action has been taken against them.
On the instructions of Police Commissioner Rajendra Singh and DCP West Rajarshi Raj Verma, the team formed by ADCP Paschim Nishant Bhardwaj and ACP Boranda Anand Singh Rajpurohit under the leadership of Luni Thanadikari Hanuman Singh Rajpurohit took this action.
It is noteworthy that there are constant complaints about illegal gravel mining and the police are also taking continuous action in this regard, but this is probably the first action regarding the seizure of the property of a person involved in illegal gravel mining.
