Joe Root hit a century again, broke Chanderpaul's record, now it's Brian Lara's turn

New Delhi. England’s great batsman Joe Root played another century in Test cricket. This batsman made a special record by scoring a century in the second match of the three-match series against West Indies. He surpassed West Indies’ Shivnarine Chanderpaul in the list of batsmen who scored the most runs in Test history, while in terms of scoring centuries, he equaled Australia’s Steve Smith and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson.

In the Nottingham Test, England set a target of 385 runs against West Indies by scoring a huge score of 425 runs in the second innings. This stalwart who failed in the first innings played a tremendous century in the second innings. Joe Root faced 178 balls and scored 122 runs with the help of 10 fours. It was because of this excellent innings that England set a huge target against West Indies. Harry Brook also played an innings of 109 runs.
