New Delhi | Military tension between India and Pakistan has increased unexpectedly after “Operation Sindoor”. The Indian Army and the Air Force officials while addressing the press on May 11 said that India gave accurate and balanced reply to the shelling, drone attacks and military abolition actions between May 7 to 10. Indian Army Director General Military Campaign (DGMO) Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai informed that between 7 and 10 May, Pakistan opened fire on the Line of Control (LOC) with artillery and small arms. Pakistan’s 35 to 40 soldiers were killed in this retaliation.
The DGMO said, “Some aerial areas and drowns were constantly attacked by air, which were thwarted by our air defense systems. On the night of 8-9 May, drones and aircraft were sent to our airspace from across the border, which were to harm our military establishments, but all efforts were unsuccessful,”.
Drone attacks on cities and India’s air defense preparations
Air Marshal A.K. Bharti said that on the night of 8 and 9 May, Pakistan attacked many cities of India with drones and unmanned air -vehicles (UAVs). The attack started at 10:30 pm and continued till morning, which started from Srinagar and spread to Nalia in Gujarat.
Air Marshal Bharti said, “Our air defense systems were fully alert. There was no harm to any Indian city or military hideout. These drone attacks were highly planned, but we faced them,”.
He also said that the enemy was allowed to fly international aircraft near Lahore, causing the presence of civil aircraft in the middle of the drone.
“The enemy not only allowed its civic aircraft to fly, but also brought international flights into the air, which was a highly irresponsible step and we had to take extreme care in our retaliation,” he said.
Radar and military establishments targeted in retaliation
Responding to these attacks, the Indian Air Force targeted radar sites and military establishments located near Gujranwala and Lahore. The attack was “balanced and strategic”, making it clear that India would not tolerate any attack.
Tension lasted for three days, then India’s lead
Between 7 and 10 May, India not only strengthened air security, but also intensified deployment and counter -firing on LOC. According to military sources, most drones and missile attacks from Pakistan were fruitless due to India’s accurate retaliation.
India’s message clear – we are ready
The joint briefing of DGMO and senior Air Force officials made one thing clear – India will no longer react, but will answer every actions of the enemy accurately, balanced and decisively.
