During the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Rajya Sabha, Union Minister and House leader JP Nadda targeted the Congress, referring to the terrorist attacks during the UPA tenure. He said that Amavasya passed after the Modi government came in 2014 and we moved towards the full moon. Nadda said that since 2014, terrorist attacks have stopped anywhere in the country except Jammu and Kashmir.
80 percent reduction in terrorist attacks
He said that there were terrorist attacks in places like Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Varanasi, Bangalore and Delhi in previous governments. There was no place left, bombings occurred everywhere. Nadda said that three bomb blasts occurred in Delhi from 2004 to 2014. He said that the Modi government has decreased by 80 percent in 10 years compared to 10 years of UPA. Also, the murder of civilians and security forces personnel has also decreased.
JP Nadda said that in the Uri attack in 2016, 19 soldiers were killed by Jaish terrorists, after which Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in Kozhikode, Kerala that the culprits of the Uri attack would not be spared. After this, a surgical strike was carried out at the terrorists’ bases on 28-29 September within three days, in which their bases were destroyed and Pakistani soldiers and terrorists were killed. This is a sign of changing India.
Pulwama’s answer in 11 days
He said that after this, 40 CRPF jawans were martyred in Pulwama in 2019 and PM Modi paid tribute to the martyrs at Palam Airport. After this, he said in his address that Pakistan has made a big mistake and it will have to bear the consequences. Nadda said that within 11 days, the Balakot air strike was responded to the Pulwama attack. The army entered 70 kilometers and destroyed the terrorist bases.
JP Nadda said that this is a sign of political will. Otherwise we used to see, thought, used to send dosier and used to eat biryani. But PM Modi said that Pakistan has made a mistake and it will have to bear the consequences. These words reflect the political will of the Modi government against terrorism.
April 22 change in 22 minutes
BJP MP Nadda further said that after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, PM Modi had gone to a panchayati raj program in Madhubani, Bihar, while the opposition alleged that he had gone to hold an election rally. During this, PM Modi had said that terrorists will get a big punishment from your imagination. After this, within 13 days, the Pahalgam attack was responded to through Operation Sindoor.
Rajya Sabha leader Sadan Nadda said that we entered 300 km inside Pakistan and attacked terrorist bases and destroyed them. Also, Pakistan’s airbase was also targeted. The locations of Jaish, Lashkar and Hizbul Mujahideen were destroyed. He said that for the first time in history, the revenge of 22 April was taken in 22 minutes. No government responded to Pakistan like Operation Sindoor.
JP Nadda told the House that after the attack, Pakistan fired about a thousand missiles and drones on us, but not a single civilian casualties were caused by the Indian Army’s might. In response, the Indian Army took military action and destroyed 11 aerial status of Pakistan, whose condition is now that they are closed.
Targeting the opposition, Nadda said that the limits of appeasement of the then Congress government would have to be understood that even after the Jaipur bombings in 2008, India and Pakistan had agreed to restore measures to restore trust. They said that they were frying us with bullets and we kept feeding them biryani. Nadda said that the then government did not take any action on the 2005 Delhi serial bomb blasts, the 2006 Varanasi terror attacks and the 2006 Mumbai local train bomb blasts. He said that the issue is that during that period, terrorism, trade and tourism between India and Pakistan used to run together.
