On Tuesday, Kalash Yatra carrying 1100 liters of Ganga water from Shri Gangotri Dham reached Mansa Devi Charan Paduka Temple. President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad Shri Mahant Ravindrapuri welcomed the yatra. Hundreds of devotees and saints were present at Shri Mansa Devi Charan Paduka Temple of Shri Panchayati Akhara Niranjani Mayapur.
Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad President Shri Mahant Ravindrapuri Maharaj, Rawal Shiv Prakash Maharaj of Gangotri Dham and Dr. Sunil Kumar Batra worshiped the Ganga Jal Kalash with rituals. He offered this holy water to the temple along with chanting mantras and Vedic rituals.
President of Akhara Parishad, Shri Mahant Ravindrapuri said that like every year, this year too, following the Sanatan tradition, the Yatra will be started under the leadership of Dhamana Rawal. He said that Mother Ganga is especially visited due to its sanctity and religious importance. Ganga is not just a river, but it is the spiritual and cultural heritage of India. He appealed to all the devotees that we all should take a pledge to maintain the purity and cleanliness of Ganga. He stressed the importance of Ganga conservation and appealed to preserve it for future generations.
