A case has been registered against a person in Loni area of Ghaziabad district of UP for raping and then strangling her 7 -year -old daughter. Police gave this information. Police claim that the accused coined a false story accusing a woman from the neighborhood of poisoning them to avoid legal action.
Ankur Vihar Assistant Police Commissioner Ajay Kumar Singh said that accused Gyan Singh (52) had initially claimed that his daughter died on March 12 after eating curry given by Shanti Devi, who lives in her neighborhood. According to the ACP, Gyan Singh has also alleged that his wife and five other children fell ill after eating the same food. The ACP said that the police have registered a case in this case and arrested Shanti Devi.
According to the police, Gyan Singh took his daughter to GTB Hospital in Delhi where doctors declared her dead. The remaining five children were discharged after treatment. However, the girl’s family then refused to conduct a post -mortem in Delhi and brought the body back home.
The ACP said that on the basis of suspicion, the police conducted a post -mortem of the girl’s body, which confirmed sexual harassment and strangulation. He said that after this revelation, the police arrested Gyan Singh near GDA Park at Seva Dham on 17 March. During interrogation, Gyan Singh confessed that on the night of March 12, he raped his daughter and then strangled her to death. The ACP said that to mislead the officials, they have implicated Shanti Devi by registering a false complaint. He said that the police has taken legal action against Gyan Singh and Shanti Devi will be freed from all the allegations.
