Haridwar: A Kanwariya who reached Haridwar on Monday carrying the statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his shoulders has attracted everyone’s attention. Rupendra Tomar, a pathologist by profession, reached Haridwar on foot from Baghpat district of western Uttar Pradesh carrying the statue of the Prime Minister. This statue weighs eight and a half kilograms.

It took 2-3 months to make the statue
Tomar said that it took him two to three months to prepare the statue and he spent 70 to 80 thousand rupees for this journey. On reaching here, he first made the statue take a bath in the Ganga at Har Ki Pauri and then after taking a bath himself, he took the statue on his shoulders and left for Baghpat. Tomar said, “When Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister for the third time, I had pledged that I will take his statue to Haridwar and make it take a bath in the Ganga.”

Want to gift statue and Gangajal to PM Modi
Tomar, who considers himself a huge fan of Prime Minister Modi, said that he wants to meet the Prime Minister and present this statue and Ganga water to him. He said, “The Prime Minister is a devotee of Lord Shiva and I am a devotee of Modi ji.” Tomar also said that the Prime Minister dedicated the Ram temple in Ayodhya to the Hindus and the whole country is happy with his achievements.
