New Delhi. The Karnataka High Court has made a strong comment on the bail granted to JDS MLA HD Revanna in the kidnapping case of a woman. The High Court said that the decision of the special court to grant bail appears to be flawed. A single bench of Justice Krishna S. Dixit of the Karnataka High Court made this comment orally during the hearing of a petition filed by the Special Investigation Team seeking cancellation of HD Revanna’s bail. Along with this, the court has also issued an emergency notice for the response of JDS MLA HD Revanna.

The court has also issued a notice to the Karnataka government and sought a reply on Revanna’s petition seeking quashing of the case registered against him. Special Public Prosecutor Professor Ravivarma Kumar urged the court to hear the case soon and asked for a date next week. Let us tell you that his father and JDS MLA HD Revanna is also an accused in the sex scandal case involving MP Prajwal Revanna from Hassan seat of Karnataka. After the case came to light, Prajwal Revanna had fled the country and has returned and surrendered today.
HD Revanna was also accused of kidnapping a victim of the same case, after which he was arrested. The woman’s son had filed a report in this case. However, later the police recovered the woman and the special court granted bail to HD Revanna, after which he came out of jail. After this, a petition was filed in the Karnataka High Court by the Special Investigation Team against the bail of HD Revanna, on which the bench made a strong comment and issued an emergency notice.
