Harsha murder case: In the murder case of Bajrang Dal activist in Shivamogga, Karnataka, police have so far arrested 6 people, while 12 people are being questioned. SP Laxmi Prasad of Shivamogga gave this information. SP Lakshmi Prasad said that these six accused include Mohammad Kashif, Syed Nadeem, Afsifullah Khan, Rehan Sharif, Nihan, Abdul Afnan. According to the police, all the six people arrested in the case have criminal records. At the same time, two cases were also registered against the victim Harsh. One is related to riots and the other is related to hurting religious sentiments in 2016-17.

On the other hand, tension continues in Shivamogga regarding the incident. In view of the atmosphere, curfew has been increased in the district. Right now there will be movement only from 6 am to 9 am. At the same time, Section 144 has also been extended in the district for two days. That is, till Friday, section 144 will remain in force here. Schools and colleges will also remain closed during this period. Dr. Selvamani R, Deputy Commissioner, Shivamogga gave this information on Tuesday. He said that despite the imposition of Section 144, some vehicles were torched in Tungnagar area on Tuesday morning. At present, additional forces have been deployed in Shivamogga and arrangements have been made by the Deputy Commissioner and the Superintendent of Police to ensure that the situation does not worsen. After the murder, 14 separate incidents of violence and arson took place in the city, on which an FIR will be registered.
