A video of Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar has gone viral, in which he is seen slapping a Congress councillor. BJP has released this video on its social media platform. In this video, it is seen that DK Shivakumar slaps a person who was shouting slogans next to him, after which the police deployed for the security of the Deputy CM pushes that person back.
It is written in BJP’s post that this case is from Savanur town of Dharwad in Haveri, Karnataka. DK Shivkumar had come here to campaign for the Congress candidate. During this time people were shouting slogans in support of DK.
As soon as Shivkumar got down from the car, the local councilor Alauddin Maniyar placed his hand on his shoulder. The Deputy CM was so upset with this that he slapped him hard.
Who is Shivkumar?
Congress had a landslide victory in the Karnataka assembly elections. The credit for this victory went to State Congress President DK Shivkumar. Firstly, he is being considered the main face in the race for the post of CM against former CM Siddaramaiah. However, later he was given the post of Deputy CM. He was born on 15 May 1962. His full name is Doddalahalli Kempegowda Shivakumar.
