Premium bike maker Kawasaki has launched two new sports bikes globally. The first bike in this is Kawasaki Ninja 400 and the second bike is Kawasaki Z 400. Kawasaki has launched this bike in the market in India with Euro 5 engine with BS6 engine ratio, in view of which the news of these bikes being launched in India soon has gained momentum.

Kawasaki has given a similar engine to both the Ninja 100 and the Z 400. The bike has a 399 cc engine, which is a parallel twin engine based on liquid cooled technology. With this engine, the company has given a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.
In the braking system of both the bikes, the company has given a combination of disc brakes in both the front and rear wheels, with which dual channel anti-lock braking system has been installed.
Talking about the design and looks of the bike, the company has made the Ninja 400 a hooded sports bike while the Z 400 has been made a naked sports bike. Both the bikes are almost identical, only the company has made a slight change in their color. Apart from this, most of the features and specifications in both these bikes are almost the same.
Talking about the suspension and other specifications of the bike, the company has given telescopic forks in the front and prepaid adjustable monoshock suspension system in the rear.
Talking about the price of the bike, the company has not made any official announcement regarding the price, but the company can launch Ninja 400 out of these two bikes in India, whose starting price can be Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom).
If this bike is launched in India, then it is sure to compete with the popular bikes of the sports segment like KTM RC 390, Suzuki Gixxer 250R, Yamaha YZF R3 and Honda CBR 300R.
