New Delhi. BJP Lok Sabha member Parvesh Verma on Sunday said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should visit the RSS headquarters in Nagpur to learn nationalism. Parvesh Verma has reacted to Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh’s comment that Kejriwal’s party is planning to start 10,000 ‘shakhas’ on the lines of RSS in Uttar Pradesh . So that people can be made aware against the policy of ‘divide and rule’ of BJP.
To this Parvesh Verma said, I invite Kejriwal to visit the RSS office at Jhandewalan in the national capital and the headquarters in Nagpur. They should also attend the first, second and third year course of RSS to learn about nationalism because one cannot become a nationalist just by holding the tricolour. If Kejriwal follows the RSS in true spirit, he will be a good person.
Questioning Kejriwal’s nationalism, he further said, nationalism should be in our heart and mind. We all know how nationalist Kejriwal is. He questions surgical strikes, opposes ‘The Kashmir Files’, what about riots in Delhi and Patiala, Punjab under his government.
Hitting out at the AAP for the Patiala violence, Verma alleged, AAP had received funds from supporters of Khalistan and Canada during the Punjab Assembly elections. The supporters of Khalistan did not accept Bhagwant Mann as the Chief Minister of Punjab and the way they were rioting, taking the Punjab Police lightly, it was clear that the revival of Khalistani forces would be a big threat.
Talking about the Uttar Pradesh government’s order to remove loudspeakers, Verma said he would write to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi requesting him to direct three mayors of the city to remove loudspeakers from mosques.
He said, “Everyone has the right to follow his religion and I am not against it, but I believe that others should not be disturbed while following the religion.” Today I am writing to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi with a request to direct the three mayors of the city to remove loudspeakers from mosques. Loudspeaker sound should be confined within the premises. Loudspeakers should be removed from across the country.
