Kerala Wayanad landslide:: 123 people have died in the landslide that occurred after heavy rains in Wayanad, Kerala. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were about to visit the affected areas but due to bad weather, they have postponed their visit. Rahul Gandhi has informed about postponing the visit on the social media platform X.

Earlier, Priyanka expressed grief over the incident in Wayanad. She said that I am very sad to see the devastation caused by the landslide near Meppadi in Wayanad. She said that I have spoken to the Defense Minister and the CM of Kerala. I request the central government to provide all possible assistance for rescue and medical. Also, compensation should be released immediately for the families of the deceased. My condolences are with the people who have lost their loved ones in this accident.

123 people died in the accident

Let us tell you that at least 123 people died and hundreds were injured in a landslide incident due to heavy rains at many places in Wayanad, Kerala on Tuesday morning. Many people are still feared to be trapped under the debris. Due to which the death toll may increase. Army and NDRF teams are searching for people in the debris.
