Former minister Pratap Singh Khachariwas has launched a big attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party. Speaking to the media at his residence on Monday, Khachariwas said that the ED’s action against him is completely inspired by politics. He said that this house belongs to Laxman Singh Shekhawat, brother of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat. If these people can take action against the family of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, the biggest BJP leader, then I have no fear of anything. Targeting the BJP, Khacharia said that if it is a crime to oppose the government, then I will continue to commit this crime. We will work to push the last nail in the BJP’s coffin.
He said that he is in Congress and will remain in Congress and will fight like a lion. Taking a sarcasm at the BJP, Pratap Singh said, “This is a double engine government – he has a government in Delhi as well as Rajasthan. And now ED is being used to suppress political opposition.”
No notification was received.
The former minister claimed that neither he nor his family received any kind of notice. He said, “These false rumors are being spread. We are fully supporting ED’s action and will continue to do further.”
Nothing to do with chit fund
Refusing the allegations against him in the chit fund case, he clearly stated, “We have nothing to do with any chit fund. I and my family are being unnecessarily harassed.” After this statement, the heat in Rajasthan politics has increased further. The Congress has also described this action as a politics of revenge.
