South Korean automaker Kia Motors made its debut in the Indian market with the Seltos. Which the company is now considering to give the first update. Actually, the first spy shot of the new Seltos has surfaced online. According to the information received, the Seltos facelift has been seen testing in South Korea, due to which the discussion of its design is on the internet.
Changes can be found in the design
If reports are to be believed, the Seltos facelift will get cosmetic updates at the front and rear. However, no mechanical update is expected in it. On the other hand, spy shots suggest that it could get updated headlamps, revamped LED daytime running lamps, and it is expected that the car will share its features with the Kia Carens as well. However, the testing mule is still wearing a dummy part, so it can only be speculated that the company will launch the final production model with several changes.
Some of the major design updates are also expected to include revised headlamps, a revamped front bumper with a bigger grille. On the other hand, we expect a new design for the tail lamps and rear bumper. At present, these spy pictures of the Seltos do not give us any information about the inside of the cabin.
There will be no change in the engine
Talking about the engine options of the Kia Seltos facelift, there will be no significant change in it. In India, the car is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 115hp, a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 115hp and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 140hp.
