North Korea fired a volley of missiles.
Seoul: North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is furious due to the failure of the launch of a military spy satellite which was to be launched a day earlier. Therefore, North Korea has created a stir by raining missiles in the sea area. Kim Jong’s army fired several suspicious ballistic missiles towards its eastern waters on Thursday. This created a stir in South Korea. The South Korean army gave this information after hearing and seeing the echo of the missiles. It is being told that North Korea carried out this action a day after the failure to launch a military reconnaissance satellite.
South Korea’s Joint Chief of Staff said North Korea fired about 10 projectiles that appeared to be short-range ballistic missiles from an area near the capital, Pyongyang. The military said these suspected missiles traveled about 350 kilometers before falling into the waters off North Korea’s east coast. The official said the South Korean military has increased surveillance and vigilance and all necessary information is being shared with the US and Japan.
Japan issued alert
In view of this move by North Korea, the Japan Coast Guard has issued a maritime advisory and instructed ships to be alert. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told reporters that it is believed that the suspected missiles fell in the waters outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone and there is no immediate report of any damage. He said that Tokyo strongly condemns this move by North Korea. (AP)
