In fact, during the Kinnar Kailash Yatra situated at a height of 19850 feet, a devotee from Delhi died after complaining of stomach ache. He said that the Kinnar Kailash Yatra was postponed for a day on Tuesday, because the foot bridge built for walking was washed away due to flooding in the Tangling drain.
He appealed to the people coming for Kinnar Kailash Yatra and said that this journey is extremely difficult geographically and the routes are also difficult. In such a situation, those who feel that this journey is beyond their capacity should not travel and should go on the journey only after getting a medical checkup done.
Kinnar Kailash is in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the Pancham Kailash. One reaches here after walking about 14 kilometers from Tangling village. There is a stone Shivling here. The important thing is that one has to climb a steep hill to reach here and the oxygen level is also low.
