Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in many parts of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon is expected to advance in additional areas of North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and South-East Rajasthan in the coming days. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in some parts of the West Coast and Northeast India during the next 4-5 days.
The Meteorological Department said that due to pre-monsoon rains on Wednesday, the maximum temperature of the capital Delhi remained below 40 degrees Celsius for the second consecutive day, but the humidity level remained high. The weather agency has announced the arrival of monsoon in many parts of the country in the next three to four days, but has not given a fixed date for the arrival of monsoon in Delhi. This indicates that the monsoon will not arrive on its usual date of June 27.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain activities along with thunderstorms will increase in most districts of Bihar in the next two-three days. The intensity of rain will increase in North Bihar, while incidents of thunderstorms and lightning will increase in South Bihar. There are strong chances of rain in some places including Patna. Here, the Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain in Supaul, Araria and Kishanganj on Thursday. This week, humidity will increase in most districts, but there will be relief from heat wave and intense heat.

Monsoon remained stagnant on Wednesday even after 24 hours of entering UP. Meanwhile, clouds kept moving throughout the day in many cities. Due to this, people had to bear the humid heat, although a drop in temperature was also observed during this period. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of thunderstorms at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in many districts including Lucknow, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar. Similarly, there is a warning of heavy rain along with thunderstorms in many districts including Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gonda, Basti, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur.
Weather condition of other states
According to Skymet Weather, moderate to heavy rains are possible over Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa and parts of Gujarat during the next 24 hours. Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, parts of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh may receive light to moderate rains with heavy rains at some places.
Light to moderate rain may occur in Vidarbha, Marathwada, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, East Rajasthan, parts of Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Light rain is possible in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, parts of Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu.
