Israel-Iran Conflict: Tensions have increased in the Middle East since the death of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Iran. Meanwhile, American media house Axios has claimed that according to US and Israeli officials, Iran can attack Israel on Monday (August 5). US Central Command Force Chief General Michael Kurella has reached Tel Aviv to help Israel in preparing to deal with Iran’s attack. At the same time, in view of the threat, America has increased the deployment of weapons in the Middle East. According to the US Defense Department Pentagon, new fighter jets, destroyers and aircraft carriers are being sent to protect US soldiers deployed in the Middle East and Israel.
Israel can attack Iran
Meanwhile, the daily ‘Times of Israel’ reported that the Benjamin Netanyahu-led government could approve an attack on Iran to prevent an attack on Israeli soil. According to the report, Israel’s key intelligence agencies Mossad and Shin Bet and their respective chiefs David Barnea and Ronen Bar were part of the meeting called by Netanyahu. The meeting was also attended by Defense Minister Yoav Galant and IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi.
‘We will take revenge at the right time and place’
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has said that Hamas chief Haniya was killed by firing a short range missile. This missile had seven kilograms of explosives. Iran has described Haniya’s death as a terrorist incident. IRGC’s statement said that this missile attack was carried out by Israel. Iran has reiterated that revenge will be taken for the murder of martyr Haniya. IRGC said that we will definitely take revenge at the right time and place.
