The victim JE Dharmendra has alleged that his wife Maya Maurya has threatened to do something like the incident in Meerut by cutting her into a drum. The victim’s husband also showed cement drums and sacks placed on the second floor of the house under construction. JE has filed two cases of assault against his wife in the city Kotwali. These cases are now being investigated by the Kotwali police.
When did Dharmendra and Maya get married?
JE Dharmendra had a love marriage to Maya Maurya, a resident of Basti in 2016. A daughter was born after marriage and everything was going well. After this, Maya asked her husband Dharmendra to put pressure on her and get three taxis done in her name. The husband issued 3 taxis in the name of his wife. He also paid the installment of those vehicles from his salary. After this, JE Dharmendra Kushwaha bought a land in Dihwa Gram Panchayat of Nagar Kotwali area in 2022. At this time Neeraj Maurya, a distant relative of his wife Maya Maurya, was given the task of building a house on that land. It is alleged that during this time Maya Maurya had an illicit relationship with her distant relative Neeraj Maurya.
Allegations of illegal relations
Many times husband Dharmendra Kushwaha suspected his wife’s love affair, after which the husband started monitoring his wife. On 7 July 2024, husband Dharmendra Kushwaha was sleeping with his wife Maya Maurya and Neeraj Maurya was sleeping in the next room. It is alleged that when the husband woke up at night, he saw that his wife was in critical condition in the next room with his distant relative Neeraj Maurya. Dharmendra filed two cases against Neeraj Maurya and when the husband objected to the relationship, the wife assaulted her distant relative Neeraj Maurya at night and left the house with Neeraj.
First case on wife
It is alleged that on 25 August 2024, the wife again reached her husband’s house with her lover Neeraj. The house was forcibly occupied by breaking the lock. The victim husband filed a case against his wife and her lover on 1 September 2024. After this, the wife again reached her husband’s house. On September 2, 2024, along with her lover Neeraj Maurya and three other colleagues, she beat her husband badly and escaped with some goods kept in the house. On 10 October 2024, the husband again filed a case in this regard in the city Kotwali.
Second case on wife
Fearing the threat of his wife, husband Dharmendra Kushwaha has been living in a separate rented house since 25 August 2024. Two days ago, when there was a dispute and assault again, husband Dharmendra called Dial 112. When both reached Kotwali, there was a dispute with Maya Maurya and Dharmendra’s mother and Maya did a high voltage drama.
Now third charge on wife
Dharmendra says that his wife is talking about cutting him and burial in the drum. The case of both the parties is under consideration in the family court, but after another dispute, the case has reached the women’s police station on the orders of the SP, where both sides will be called and recorded and investigated.
