New Delhi. Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli made a comeback in the Indian Premier League after being away from the field for the last few months. In the very second match, he played such an inning against Punjab Kings which changed the course of the match. This star player playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, while chasing 177 runs, took over the team after the fall of early wickets and played an inning of 77 runs. Before the start of IPL, Virat Kohli was in a place where no one recognized him.
On the day of Holi, Virat Kohli came to play against Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. Batting after losing the toss, Shikhar Dhawan scored 45 runs and in the end, thanks to Shashank Singh’s 21 runs, the score was 176 runs for 6 wickets. Virat Kohli made an important contribution to Bangalore’s victory by scoring 77 runs off 49 balls with 11 fours and 2 sixes.
Kohli could not play in the five-Test series against England due to the birth of his second child. Meanwhile, he spent a good time with his family. “We were not in the country,” he said. We were at a place where people were not recognizing us. I spent time with my family like a common man for two months. It was a wonderful experience for us as a family. I am grateful to God that I got a chance to spend time with my family.
Kohli said, “Walking on the street like a common man, with no one recognizing you and living everyday life like common people, was a wonderful experience.”
