Due to this, the accused could easily go to any part of the hospital. On the day of the incident, the lady doctor had fallen asleep in the seminar hall after having dinner. Often junior doctors or junior residents rest like this at night.
According to the claims of the police, the accused was seen going and coming to the same part of the hospital in the CCTV footage. The difference between going and coming was that while going he had a mobile phone’s Bluetooth earpiece in his ear which was not there while returning. The same Bluetooth was found by the police from the crime scene and later it was connected to the accused’s phone. The police will take legal action in this case. Or if the case goes to the CBI, then the CBI will complete the legal process and get justice from the court. Along with this, the police will also decide whether a person alone can kill a woman without any weapon. Or whether anyone else was with the accused in this or not.
Protection of doctors is necessary along with punishment to the guilty
The culprit of this heinous crime must be punished. After this incident, the question of security of doctors in the hospital is also very important. In hospitals like AIIMS in Delhi, many security guards have been kept by spending a decent budget. Policemen are also active in AIIMS and such big hospitals. If we talk about many other big or district hospitals, then there is actually very little security there. Or there is no security at all. Anyone can easily come and go anywhere here.
The incident of rape and murder is very diabolical and reprehensible in itself. But the latest incident in Kolkata has been done with a female doctor. It makes one wonder how a young female doctor can fearlessly do night duty in her hospital. A lunatic like Sanjay Roy can enter the hospital anytime and do anything to them. Security is not a priority for police posts

But police and security guards need to be deployed for this. Most government hospitals also have police posts. But for these police posts, the security of the hospital doctors is not a priority at all. These are people from the civil police. Their priority is just like that of police stations. They also have to investigate cases along with other duties of law and order. Therefore, apart from medico-legal matters, they do not have much to do with the hospital.

Junior doctors have protested across the country on this issue and demanded security. The demands of doctors are justified. It is necessary to make a policy on this and provide security to doctors. It is only the doctors who can cure any problem in the human body. No one else is capable of curing a sick person.
