Kota | The sensation spread on National Highway 52 when a trailer driver deliberately crushed the RTO inspector under his car. The accident was so terrible that the inspector died on the spot. The accused driver first went away after cutting the challan, but in a short time he carried out the crime and then escaped. The incident took place in Mandana police station area of Kota near Gopalpura Mataji 8 Line Toll Plaza at around 7 pm on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as 38 -year -old Naresh Barwal, a resident of Kunhadi, Kota, who was posted as RTO Inspector in the flying team of the Transport Department.
Naresh Barwal, along with the flying squad, was doing traffic checking near the toll plaza in a Bolero car. Meanwhile, a trailer came waving from Chittorgarh, on which the Bolero driver took a photo on suspicion and Inspector Naresh Barwal fined the driver.
After the challan was made, the trailer driver left the spot. But shortly after, he came back and climbed the trailer directly on the inspector. Bolero driver Devendra rescued, but Naresh Barwal was hit by the trailer. The heavy tire passed over his stomach, causing him to die on the spot.
During the incident, Bolero driver Devendra was also hit by the trailer. He has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. According to the flying team guard Arvind Prasad, the trailer driver’s behavior was already aggressive.
DSP Rajesh Dhaka said that the case appears to be intentionally intentionally murder. The trailer driver first cut the challan, then returned after some time and attacked the deadly. The accused left the trailer and escaped from the spot. The police have seized the trailer and teams have been dispatched in search of the accused.
There is tremendous resentment among RTO department officials after the incident. He said that adequate security is not being provided to the flying staff working on the roads continuously. In such cases, the government should take serious action.
Naresh Barwal is survived by his wife and two children. He lived in the Kunhadi region of Kota. As soon as his family got information, weeds were mourned on the spot. The employees of the Transport Department also reached a large number of hospitals and the spot.
The police have seized the trailer and the driver is being identified based on its registration number. CCTV footage is being searched. Mandana police station has registered a case and a case has been registered against the accused under the murder sections.
