Dungarpur. On the occasion of World Labor Day, Labor Department Dungarpur has appealed to all industrial institutions of the district to give the employees to the employees as per the instructions of the Labor Commissioner. Along with this, in compliance with the instructions received from the District Legal Services Authority, the department is organizing a series of special programs for the interests of unorganized workers from May 1 to May 7. During this seven -day campaign, officials of Labor Department Dungarpur will visit various laborers, construction sites and industrial institutions. Through these visits, workers will be provided detailed information about their labor laws, so that they can become aware of their rights.
The Labor Department has also clarified that if any laborer gets less than the minimum wage or is done for more than 8 hours, then they can register their complaints through online e-Mitra. Additionally, they can also submit their complaints on the single window installed in the office, on which quick action will be taken.
The department will operate a special single window labor facility center in the office for these seven days. At this center, every worker working in the unorganized sector will be registered on the e -ram portal, so that they can get the benefit of various schemes of the government.
Labor Inspector Manoj Rot informed that Labor Day was celebrated with workers in various institutions and industrial areas located in Sagwara subdivision of Dungarpur district. During this time, important information related to labor laws was shared with the workers, so that they could understand and use their rights. This special campaign of the Labor Department is an important step towards making workers in the unorganized sector aware of their rights and connecting them with social security schemes.
